HIGHLIGHTS FROM NFCS MINISTERS' CONFERENCE 2018

Third Edition of Nigeria Federation of Catholic Students' (NFCS, University of Maiduguri Chapyer) Ministers' conference was held from 5th to 6th of March 2018. It was aimed at clarifying issues relating to Ministering in the house of the Lord and was indeed a success.
Speaking on the First day of the conference Bro. Emmanuel Onyekwere explained ministeration in his own words as "the service of God to the people God ".
He discussed extensively on the following topics
The need for all ministers to partake in the 15 minutes preparatory prayer which is before the start of every fellowship.

The need for all Moderators and Speakers as well as the regular Ministers (I.e. Praise Band, Drama Band, Lumen Christi Press, Prayer Team, Ushering Team) to abide by the NFCS fellowship schedule and adhere to time specified for each ministration and also,
The need for speakers to prepare their talks along the topics for every fellowship.

He also spoke on the framework of the NFCS,
The aims and objectives of the NFCS amongst other important points.

Speaking the second day of the conference anchored by Bro. Ejeh Gabriel. The following points were also discussed:
Our mode of worship
The way and manner in which we dress both within and outside the Chaplaincy and He called for decency in our way of dressing as Ministers in the house of the Lord.
Also some vital issues were raised from members of the audience and cogent answers were given.
