INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2018 CAMPAIGN THEME :PRESS FOR PROGRESS

March 8 sees the annual IWD campaign theme kick off for the year ahead, although many groups around the world adopt and promote the campaign theme from early in the year. The IWD campaign theme provides a unified direction to guide and galvanize collective action. The campaign theme does not end on International Women's Day. It's just the start. Throughout the year many groups worldwide adopt the IWD campaign theme for further campaign work, gender-focused initiatives, continuing activity and events
International Women's Day belongs to all communities everywhere - governments, companies, charities, educational institutions, networks, associations, the media and more. Whether through a global conference, community gathering, classroom lesson or dinner table conversation - everyone can play a purposeful part in pressing for gender parity.
So make International Women's Day YOUR day and do what you can to truly make a positive difference for women.

Nigeria Federation of Catholic Students (NFCS) is a body encompassing catholic students in all high institutions of learning. Its history can be traced back to 1920 when the idea of catholic students unionism came up; an internal catholic study union (ICSU) was created in swiss with George de Montenach as the president to deepen the urgency for reconciliation in a world torn apart by the first world war. During the late 1920s, the students society charged its President; Montenach, secretary; Max Gressly and father Tschunor to deepen the contacts with other student group, Dr. Gerald Brom, the then General Secretary of the Netherlands Catholic Association of Students responded quickly to this effort and a coalition of the students from three neutral countries during the war was created; Switzerland, Holland and Spain. NFCS Cultural Carnival 2023.... Praise night..28/10/2023..

The 2023 NFCS CULTURAL WEEK arrived a fiestive and as usual, angelic, top the shelve offerings from our esteemed Praise Band and Choir. Their presentation of  were heavenly. An accord of all sections of the choir embellished in voices worthy of enchanting stones back to life. The Drama Band, rivalled only by the likes of Hollywood and Bollywood by acting drama that speaks about the cultural theme taged; Sharing our similarities and celebrating our difference ; revelled the gathered NFCSers and well wishers with the antics of their well prepared; singular performances, witht the cultural lessons of  well received and applauded. The NFCS CULTURAL WEEK is always an anticipated glamorous  annual event organised by the All Saints Chaplaincy, UniMaid Chpater.
