EASTER GREETINGS
Hallelujah!!
Hosanna in the Highest
_He broke out of the Tomb, even the guards didn't see it_
1️⃣Beloved brethren, I write to congratulate you all to have witnessed another Easter, the most remarkable Easter in our own history. Yes I said *The most remarkable*, I am sure you don't feel the same way but it is. What we are going through does not have to define our Easter because the wise say that _when the night gets so dark it means that dawn is near_.
It's a very remarkable Easter irrespective of the fact that a large number of us could not participate in the Paschal celebrations physically but this does not change the fact that Jesus has risen, He bore our sins and punishment through the tough way of Calvary, he was nailed there, died and now is risen to bring an end to all our miseries.
2️⃣Brethren, it has really been a very difficult and challenging time in the history of mankind, everyone has felt it, the rich and the poor alike, the weak and the strong. The great men and world powers are now crying out for help, governments are becoming more responsible, Churches are retaking their steps while men and women are looking unto grace and mercy - isn't that wonderful?
3️⃣Beloved NFCSers, in all this we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37) for the lord is our shield and keeper and he that keeps you does not sleep neither does he slumber (Psalm 121:4). We must now embrace him firmly and pray in Faith that his death and resurrection may bring succor and alleviate the suffering of the people of God all over the world.
4️⃣While we wait and seek divine intervention for an end to this global Pandemic (Covid-19), I encourage you all, beloved brothers and sisters to remain your best - the great ambassadors of Christ. Abide by all measures put in place by government (God also commands it - Romans 13:1-7) to check the spread of this deadly disease. Do not patronise fake news and do not help in spreading it. Try as much as you can to endure the hardship that comes with such a trying moment as this remembering God's promise in 1Peter 5:10.
5️⃣I sincerely our amiable chaplain (Rev. Fr. Solomon Zaku) who have made constant effort to see that we are not totally deprived participation in the Masses by streaming the Masses when he could and regularly sharing the daily homily with us. I also appreciate Mr Chijioke Akaronye who in a bid to mitigate the difficult times some of our brethren are into distributed 20,000 to ten needy NFCSers. In that regard also, I charge you all to be generous, don't allow anyone stay hungry while you have bread.
6️⃣Finally brethren, Easter is here again and it doesn't matter how you celebrate it (whether indoor or outdoor, whether locked down or quarantined) what matters most is that you know that Jesus is the reason for the season and that by his stripes the world is healed.
*HAPPY EASTER BELOVED BRETHREN*
I LOVE YOU AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT❤️
